poration, and such other publication as may be specified in the
enabling resolution or ordinance, of the notice of sale in the form
prescribed by such resolution or ordinance by two insertions thereof
over a period of not less than ten days next preceding the date
fixed for such sale.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 37 A of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll County (1965 Edition,
being Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Carroll County," subtitle "Governmental Study Commission," as
this section was enacted by Chapter 421 of the Acts of 1966 and
as portions of it were amended by Chapter 755 of the Acts of
1968; and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of
said Chapter 421 of 1966 as amended by said Chapter 755 of the
Acts of 1968, extending the time for the functions and operations
of the Governmental Study Commission of Carroll County, pro-
viding for the appropriation AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATIONS

to this Commission by the Board of County Commissioners, re-
moving certain obsolete provisions from these laws and relating
generally to the membership, functions and operations of the Gov-
ernmental Study Commission of Carroll County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 37A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll County
(1965 Edition, being Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Carroll County," subtitle "Governmental Study
Commission," as this section was enacted by Chapter 421 of the Acts
of 1966 and as portions of it were amended by Chapter 755 of the
Acts of 1968, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

37A.

(a) The Carroll County Government Study Commission is
hereby created for the purpose of studying and making recommen-
dations concerning the structure or form of the government of
Carroll County. The Commission shall be composed of fifteen (15)
persons who shall serve without compensation. Commission mem-
bers shall be selected and appointed by the joint action of the Board
of County Commissioners and the State Senator and members of the
House of Delegates elected from the county [.]; provided, however,
that those members appointed pursuant to Chapter 755 of the Acts
of 1968 and serving as members at the time of passage of this Act,
shall continue as members of the Commission hereby created along
