cles," subtitle "Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment Fund," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

175.

All sums paid to the Commissioner as Unsatisfied Claim and
Judgment Fund fees and as additional charges against owners of
uninsured motor vehicles shall be remitted to the Treasurer within
thirty days after the receipt of same. All sums received by the
Treasurer pursuant to any of the provisions of this subtitle shall
become part of the fund, and shall be held by the Treasurer in trust
for the carrying out of the purpose of this subtitle and for the pay-
ment of the cost of administering this subtitle. However, to expedite
the payment of claims, the Manager of the Fund shall
MAY issue any
draft or check in the payment of claims and court costs direct to the
payee
or AND his attorney, IF HE HAS AN ATTORNEY, from a
revolving fund established for the purpose.
Said funds may be in-
vested and reinvested in the same manner as other State funds and
shall be disbursed according to the order of the Treasurer, as custo-
dian of the fund, or in the case of Court ordered payments, settlements
and court costs by the Manager of the Fund, who shall notify the
Treasurer of payments made.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 310
(House Bill 503)

AN ACT to add a new Section 9(66) to Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1968 Supple-
ment), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall Be Taxed
and Where," to follow immediately after Section 9(65) thereof,
providing a tax exemption for certain properties owned by the
Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum at St. Michaels.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 9(66) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and
1968 Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "What Shall
Be Taxed and Where," to follow immediately after Section 9(65)
thereof, and to read as follows:

9.

(66) Real and personal property owned by the Chesapeake Bay
Maritime Museum, St. Michaels.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.
