stitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction such unconstitu-
tionally shall not affect the validity of the remaining parts of this
Act or of any other section thereof.

Sec. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 265
(House Bill 230)

AN ACT to add new subsection (e) to Section 84 of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume) title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale," to
follow immediately after subsection (d) thereof, to provide for
the hours and days when the privileges conferred by a Class H
Beer and Light Wine License may be exercised in Montgomery
County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That subsection (e) be added to Section 84 of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale," to follow
immediately after subsection (d) of said section and to read as
follows:

84. Beer and light wine licenses.

(e) Class H (on sale)Hotels and restaurants.The hours dur-
ing which the privileges conferred by a Class H beer and light wine
license may be exercised shall be from 9 o'clock a.m. to 12 o'clock
midnight.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 266
(House Bill 232)

AN ACT to add a new Section 25½ to Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Justices of
the Peace," subtitle "Criminal Jurisdiction," to follow immediately
after Section 25 thereof, amending the laws concerning the People's
Court of Montgomery County in order to provide for the posting of
deposits on cash bonds in criminal and motor vehicle cases and for
the forfeiture or return of these deposits.
