mortgage had been in such matters in full conformity with the law
in force at the time of such execution, provided, that any such mort-
gage or assignment of mortgage is in other respects legal and valid,
and provided further, that nothing in Section 99 of this section shall
affect the rights of any bona fide purchasers or creditors, without
notice, who may have become so prior to [June 1, 1964] July 1, 1969.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 139
(Senate Bill 698)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2-3 (a)
(12) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Sup-
plement), title "Election Code," subtitle "Election Boards and
Employees," to increase the salary of the Board of Election Super-
visors in Garrett County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2-3 (a) (12) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1968 Supplement), title "Election Code," subtitle "Elec-
tion Boards and Employees," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

2-3.

(a) Each member of the boards of the several political subdivi-
sions of the State shall receive an annual salary of not less than the
following amounts:

(12) Garrett County: [($600)] ($900.00).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of
Chapter 238 of the 1966 Laws of Maryland, as amended by Chap-
ter 52 of the 1968 Laws of Maryland, providing for an increase
in the rate of interest for the bonds that are issued for school
construction in Charles County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2 of Chapter 238 of the 1966 Laws of Maryland, as
amended by Chapter 52 of the 1968 Laws of Maryland, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
