seasonable compensation for the inspector as is warranted by his
respective duties and responsibilities. After appointment, the inspec-
tor shall serve as such and shall be discharged only for cause involv-
ing dishonesty, incompetency or immoral conduct; and prior to his
discharge, he shall be given a list of the charges against him and
an opportunity to reply thereto in an open hearing either in person
or by counsel.
The inspector shall investigate all applicants for an alcoholic bev-
erage license or transfer of license in Cecil County, enforce all
alcoholic beverage laws therein, and investigate all violations of the
alcoholic beverage laws and report the same to the liquor control
board. The inspector shall have all the powers of a peace officer of
the State of Maryland in respect to the enforcement of the alcoholic
beverage laws of Cecil County and shall make an oath, as provided
in the Constitution of Maryland, to faithfully perform the duties
entrusted to him. The inspector shall visit and inspect at unannounced
times every licensed premise in Cecil County at least every ninety
days. The inspector shall make monthly reports in writing to the
liquor control board covering his activities, setting forth any com-
plaints, and listing any violations that may have been observed by
him or reported to him. No person shall accept appointment or con-
tinue as an inspector if either he or any member of his immediate
family has any personal or financial interest either directly or in-
directly in any license or in any licensed premises under the pro-
visions of this article.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 206 (f)
and 208 (a) of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1968 Supplement), title "Insurance
Code," subtitle "14. Unauthorized Insurers," amending the insur-
ance laws of this State to make certain corrections in the language
and references in the laws concerning unauthorized insurers.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 206 (f) and 208 (a) of Article 48A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1968 Supplement),
title "Insurance Code," subtitle "14. Unauthorized Insurers," be and
they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

(f) The Attorney General upon request of the Commissioner is
authorized [the] to proceed in the courts of this or any other state
or in any federal court or agency to enforce an order or decision in
any court proceeding or in any administrative proceeding before the
Commissioner.
