An Act to enact Section 564A of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition) being Article 23 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wicomico Teen-
Adult Activity & Development Center, Inc.," authorizing an appropria-
tion of Twenty-two thousand nine hundred ninety-four dollars
($22,994.00) to the Wicomico Teen-Adult Activity & Development
Center, Inc.

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
WICOMICO COUNTY, MARYLAND, that Section 564A of Article 23 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition) being
Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wicomico
Teen-Adult Activity & Development Center, Inc.," be enacted, to be known
as Section 564A and to read as follows:

Section 564A. Wicomico Teen-Adult Activity & Development Center, Inc.
The County Council of Wicomico County, Maryland, is hereby au-
thorized and directed to levy the sum of twenty-two thousand nine hun-
dred ninety-four dollars ($22,994.00) and appropriate the same to the
Wicomico Teen-Adult Activity & Development Center, Inc. to be used for
the purpose of establishing and maintaining a Teen-Adult Center for the
Mentally retarded.

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that this Act, having
been passed by the County Council of Wicomico County at its Legislative
Session of October, 1968, shall take effect December 1, 1968, unless a
proper petition for referendum thereof shall be validly filed prior to said
date, in which event this Act shall not take effect until the expiration
of thirty (30) days following approval of this Act by a majority of the
qualified voters of the County voting in any such referendum.
