Resolution No. 1-1968
A Resolution and Ordinance to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Section 37 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Wicomico County (1965 Edition) title "Delmar," subtitle "Voters;
qualifications," relating to the qualifications of voters, the terms of
office of the Commissioners and the compensation of said Commis-
sioners.
Section 1. BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDAINED by the Commis-
sioners of Delmar, by virtue of the authority granted in Article HE of the
Constitution of Maryland, that Section 37 of Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Wicomico County (1965 Edition), title "Delmar,"
subtitle "Voters; qualifications," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, to read as follows:
37. Voters; qualifications.
All persons twenty-one years of age and over, and all persons who
have attained the age of twenty-one years by the second Tuesday in April
following their registration, and who shall have been living within the
limits of said town for a period of twelve months prior to the second Tues-
day in April, shall be entitled to register as qualified voters of Delmar
and shall on the second Tuesday in April, [1957] 1969, elect three persons
