I, C. Stanley Blair, Secretary Of State Of The State Of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 23-11 (c)
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957 Edition),
Do Hereby Certify, that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1968, an Act known as Chapter 725 of the
Acts of 1968, was submitted to the voters of Montgomery County,
Maryland, under the provisions of Chapter 725 of the Acts of 1968,
said Act being as follows:
"An Act to add a new Section to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Prince George's County (1963 Edition and 1967 Supple-
ment), being also Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County," subtitle
"Boundaries" to be known as Section 4-6 and to follow im-
mediately after Section 4-5, and adding a new section to the
Montgomery County Code, 1965, being also Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County," subtitle "Part 2. General Local Laws," subheaded
"Chapter 1. General Provisions," to be known as Section 1-19
and to follow immediately after Section 1-18, to provide for
the classification of and provide for the establishment of,
the boundary line between Prince George's County and
Montgomery County."
and I do certify, that at said election 35,073 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 725 of the Acts of 1968, and
13,995 votes were cast against adoption of said Chapter 725 of the
Acts of 1968, the said Act has therefore been ratified by a majority
of the qualified voters of Montgomery County.
In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my
name and affixed my official seal at the City of An-
napolis, this 6th Day of December, 1968.
