AND FOR MILEAGE OF CERTAIN JUDGES OF THE OR-
PHANS' COURT IN THIS STATE, WITH PARTICULAR RE-
SPECT TO DORCHESTER COUNTY, SOMERSET COUNTY
AND WICOMICO COUNTY.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 255(e) AND SECTION 255(I) of Article 93 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 REPLACEMENT VOLUME
AND 1968 Supplement), title "Testamentary Law," subtitle "Or-
phans' Court," be and it is THEY ARE hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

255.

(e) Each of the judges of the Orphans' Court for Queen Anne's
[Somerset] and Worcester counties shall receive the sum of eight
dollars ($8.00) for every day's attendance upon the sessions of said
court. The judges of the Orphans' Court for Somerset County shall
each receive fifteen ($15.00) dollars for every day's attendance upon
the sessions of the court. The judges of the Orphans' Court for
Worcester County shall receive an allowance for traveling expenses
of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) per year. The judges of the
Orphans' Court for Queen Anne's county shall receive an allowance
for traveling expenses of $750.00 per year. The judges of the
Orphans' Court for Somerset County shall receive an allowance of
fifteen dollars ($15.00) for mileage for every day's attendance upon
the sessions of said court.

(I) EACH OF THE JUDGES OF THE ORPHANS' COURT
FOR ST. MARY'S AND WICOMICO COUNTIES SHALL RE-
CEIVE FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15.00) FOR EVERY DAY'S
ATTENDANCE UPON THE SESSIONS OF SAID COURT AND
IN DORCHESTER COUNTY AND WICOMICO COUNTY EACH
OF THE JUDGES OF THE ORPHANS' COURT SHALL RE-
CEIVE AN ALLOWANCE OF SIX DOLLARS ($6.00) FOR
MILEAGE FOR EVERY DAY'S ATTENDANCE UPON THE
SESSIONS OF SAID COURT.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to repeal Section 59 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Public Educa-
tion", subtitle "County Board of Education", and to enact new
Section 59 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section
repealed, to provide financial arrangements for children residing
in one county and who attend a public school in an adjoining
county.
