consent and approval of the Executive Committee of the Charles
County Volunteer Rescue Squad Association, the Board of Fire and
Rescue Commissioners, and the Board of County Commissioners of
Charles County and must be incorporated as an individual rescue
squad.

G. On or before February AUGUST 15, of each year, each rescue
squad to which money is paid by the County Commissioners of Charles
County shall submit a certified financial statement of its operations
for the previous annual
FISCAL year to the Board of Fire and Rescue
Commissioners via the Charles County Volunteer Rescue Squad Asso-
ciation. The statement shall include the number and type of calls an-
swered by the squad, the number of miles traveled on calls, and the
actual purchases and operating costs of vehicles, equipment, and
housing of that squad.

H. In the event any one of the rescue squads in Charles County
fails to comply with the equipment standards of the Charles County
Volunteer Rescue Squad Association, then the funds allocated to
that squad by the County Commissioners shall be withheld until the
squad has complied with the equipment standards of the Association.
In the event any squad does not comply with the equipment
standards within a reasonable length of time as determined by the
Executive Committee of the Charles County Volunteer Rescue
Squad Association, from the date the squad is notified by the County
Commissioners of the failure to comply with the equipment stand-
ards, then the funds allocated to that squad shall be distributed as
necessary among the squad assuming jurisdiction over that area as
outlined below.

I. In the event any of the Rescue Squads of Charles County ceases
to be an active rescue organization or if the funds provided for
herein are not used for the purposes prescribed by the formula, the
County Commissioners upon the recommendation of the Board of
Fire and Rescue Commissioners shall cease paying to that rescue
squad such funds and the same shall be held and, distributed as neces-
sary to those rescue squads assuming coverage of that area.

Providing further that the beneficial assets of said rescue squad
shall become the property of Charles County and that the County
Commissioners may at their discretion, assume all or any part of
the liabilities of such squad.

The County Commissioners may on the recommendation of the
Executive Committee of the Charles County Volunteer Rescue Squad
Association give such assets and/or liabilities to those rescue squads
assuming coverage of that area or to any other rescue squad active
in Charles County.

J. No rescue squad receiving benefits under this section shall
obligate these benefits for any capital expenditure defined as the
purchase of land, erection or modification of any building, or the
purchase of apparatus without first obtaining the approval of the
Executive Committee of the Charles County Volunteer Rescue Squad
Association and the Board o
