ties, except such water mains which will provide only local service
and may be of a hereinabove mentioned size merely as a small seg-
ment of a future main so as to avoid unnecessary and uneconomical
duplication at the time of construction of a subsequent major
project. The program shall indicate, by project, those lines for
which construction contributions have been made or committed,
together with the amounts of such contributions, as of the date of
the preparations of the proposed program. Each program shall be
available to public view and inspection at the Commission offices and
a reasonable number of copies shall be made available to satisfy all
reasonable requests therefor.]

[(c) Recommendations of Park and Planning Commission.
Fifty or more days before the required adoption date of its annual
five-year sewer and water construction programs, the Commission
shall transmit to the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission its proposed programs, along with a general statement
in explanation of each. The Sanitary Commission shall not there-
after adopt its final construction programs for the ensuing five
years until it shall have received from said Park and Planning Com-
mission its comment and recommendations on the proposed pro-
grams or until twenty-five days shall have passed, whichever shall be
sooner. If the Park and Planning Commission shall recommend any
changes or deletions in the proposed program, it shall state its
reasons therefor, in writing, and the Sanitary Commission shall re-
examine its proposed programs and give due weight to the recom-
mendations of said Park and Planning Commission before final
adoption of the programs, it being the intent of the General Assem-
bly that the two Commissions shall make every reasonable effort to
reach agreement with respect to the programs required by this
section. Any resolution proposing an interim amendment to a five
year water or sewer program shall, before final adoption, be trans-
mitted along with a statement of explanation, to the said Park and
Planning Commission and the same procedures shall be followed
as set forth herein for the five-year program and annual revisions
thereof.]

[(d) Submitted to Montgomery County Council and to Prince
George's County Commissioners.
As herein used the term "county
governing body" shall mean the Montgomery County Council with
respect to Montgomery County and the Board of County Commis-
sioners with respect to Prince George's County, and the provisions
for submission to, hearing held by, and approval, disapproval and
other provisions for review by the county governing body shall apply
to and the powers be exercised by the Montgomery County Council
with respect to the portion of the programs, revisions or amend-
ments thereof concerning water and sewerage facilities in Mont-
gomery County and by the Board of County Commissioners for
Prince George's County concer
