AN ACT to recodify and renumber Section 122B of Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Supplement, title "Crimes
and Punishments," subtitle "Drugs," to Section 313D of Article
27 of the said Code, title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"State Drug Abuse Control Act," to follow immediately after
Section 313C thereof, and to recodify and renumber Section 175
of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Fraud-
Drugs," to Section 280A of Article 27 of the said Code, title
"Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Health-Narcotic Drugs,"
to follow immediately after Section 280 thereof, and changing
respective Code references.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 122B of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Drugs," be and it is hereby recodified and renumbered as Section
313D of Article 27 of the said Code, title "Crimes and Punishments,"
subtitle "State Drug Abuse Control Act," to follow immediately
after Section 313C thereof.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 175 of Article 27
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume),
title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Fraud-Drugs," be and it
is hereby recodified and renumbered as Section 280A of Article 27
of the said Code, title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Health-
Narcotic Drugs," to follow immediately after Section 280 thereof.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 16(a)
SECTIONS 16(A) AND 16(B) of Article 78B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Racing
Commission," subtitle "In General," to revise the amount which
the Agricultural and Mechanical Association, as a licensee of the
Racing Commission, may deduct and retain from the money
wagered on all races conducted by it during the year; RELATING
TO THE PAYMENTS MADE BY THE AGRICULTURAL AND
MECHANICAL ASSOCIATION TO THE RACING COMMIS-
SION AND MAKING PROVISION FOR CERTAIN PAYMENTS
FOR ALL LICENSEES UNDER SECTION 15 OF SAID ARTI-
CLE.
