Men's Christian Association, the trust shall cease and determine,
and the land and improvements thereon shall revert to the Board
of Education of Cecil County, its successors and assigns.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1969.

CHAPTER 11
(House Bill 151)

AN ACT to add new Section 102A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Cecil County (1961 Edition, being Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Cecil County," subtitle
"Circuit Court," to follow immediately after Section 102 thereof,
and to be under the new subheading "County Director of Proba-
tion"; providing for the appointment, duties and salary of a proba-
tion officer in Cecil County and generally relating thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 102A be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Cecil County (1961 Edition, being Article 8
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Cecil County,"
subtitle "Circuit Court," to follow immediately after Section 102
thereof, and to be under the new subheading "County Director of
Probation," and to read as follows:

102A.                          County Director of Probation

(a)    The Circuit Court of Cecil County may designate, appoint,
and employ some competent and suitable male person to act as parole
officer for Cecil County, who shall be known as Director of Probation,
and who shall be charged with the duty of supervising persons
paroled by the Judges of the Circuit Court under rules and regula-
tions the court in its discretion promulgates; and it shall also be the
duty of the Director to investigate and report to the Circuit
Court, any case referred to him by the court for investigation. When
directed by the court he shall investigate and report to the court in
writing on the circumstances of the offense, criminal record, social
history, and present condition of any person charged with or
convicted of any crime or offense, and whenever desirable and facili-
ties exist therefor, may also obtain a physical and mental examina-
tion of such person and report thereon to the Circuit Court prior to
the disposition or sentence by the Court. When requested by the
Circuit Court, he also shall investigate any violation or alleged
violations of the orders passed by the Circuit Court in cases involv-
ing nonsupport, bastardy, and aged and indigent parent laws; and
he shall keep a complete record of all cases referred to him.

(b)    The Trial Magistrates of Cecil County, in any case wherein a
suspended sentence may have been imposed, may place the convicted
offender upon probation, and the parole officer shall take such steps
