Tenour of the sd Bond with a Condicon to the sd Richd Hill in his life

time, nor to the sd Willmott Hill Since the death of the sd Richard to

Whome Admn of all & Singular the goods Chatles & Credits which were

of the Sd Richard was Comitted, nor to either of them hath not past

but the Same to pay hath refused, although often thereunto required to

the damage of the sd Willmott of 8000 pounds of tobacco & thereupon

he brings this Sute &ca. – – – – – – – –

              The Condicon of the abovesd Bond is as followeth . viz.

     The Condicon of the above Written Obligation is Such that if ye above

bounden William Massey shall well & truely pay or cause to be paid four

thousand pounds of good Sound Mertable tobacco & Caske to Richard Hill

his Heirs Extors Admrs Assigns or Certain Attorney upon ye 10th day of

October 1693. years at Snow hill Landing then this Obligation to be

void & of none effect or other wise to remaine in full Strength effect

& Vertue &ca.                                                 {Jno Doe

Somerset County in Maryland.

Know all Men by these prsents that I William Massey of the County &

Province aforesd Planter am held & firmly bound unto Richd Hill

of the Same County & Province Planter in the full & just quantity of

Eight thousand pounds of good Sound Merchantable tobacco & Caske

[unto] the true payment thereof I bind me my Heirs Extors to pay or

Cause to be paid the full quantity of like tobacco to the aforesd Richd

Hill, him his Heirs Extors or Assigns at Snow hill Landing at or

upon the tenth day of October One thousand Six hundred & ninety

three, it being for a Consideration in hand recd in Witness whereof

I have hereunto Sett my hand & Seal this 5th day of ffeby 1691/2

   The Condicon of the above Written Obligation is Such that if

the above bounden William Massey shall well & truely pay or Cause

to be paid four thousand pounds of good Sound Mertable tobacco and

Caske to Richard Hill his Heirs Extors Admrs Assigns or Certaine

Attorney upon the tenth day of October one thousand Six -

hundred & ninety three years at Snow hill Landing then this

pleading nothing in Barr to the foresd accon, The Court thereon

gave judgmt agt the Defndt according to Decl & Bond viz for
