              At a Court held by his Maties Justices of the Peace

              for y^e County of Somerset in y^e Province of Maryland

              the 12^th day of November an^o Domini 1695. before

              Justices thereunto authorized & appointed //

In Obedience to y^e Exce^llie & Councels Order bearing date

May y^e 28^th =1695. Wherein it was Ordered that y^e Justices

of the Severall County Courts within this Province finish &

determine all Causes now depending in the sd Courts either

this next June Court or in August Court after at furthest upon

pain &ca. which sd Order as sd our Sheriff did not arrive

till after June Court. But at our sd County Court held the

13^th day of August following the sd Order was read, &

by the Wor^ll. Court observed &ca. And at a Court held for

the County afd by the Justices afd y^e 12th day of November

last past your Exce^llie &ca. Second Order dated 8ber y^e 19^th =

1695 was by our sd Sheriff read in Open Court, wherein

it was again Ordered, that the Severall Courts within

the Province, return an acco^t under the hand of their Clk

whether the business in the Severall Courts Depending

had been fully Compleated pursuant to former Order &ca

Whereupon our Wor^ll Court did Order that the Clk make

return thereof to his Exce^llie &ca with Speed. In Obedience

thereunto doe humbly Certifie that in Regard the first

Order not comeing in due time (as intended) could not

possibly be Complyed with, but in 7ber following the

whole business in our Court depending was finished
