Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title
"State Police," subtitle "State Police Retirement System," to follow
immediately after subsection 56(7) (d) thereof, to provide that
additional voluntary contributions by employees to their Annuity
Savings Account shall not be considered when determining supple-
mentary pensions.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new subsection 14(7)(g) be and it is hereby added to Article
73B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume
and 1967 Supplement), title "Pensions," subtitle "In General," to
follow immediately after subsection 14(7)(f) thereof, and to read as
follows:

(7)(g) When determining the amount of supplementary pay-
ments, the Board of Trustees shall not consider any additional
voluntary contributions by any employee to his Annuity Savings
Account.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That new subsection 116(7) (h)
be and it is hereby added to Article 77 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title
"Public Education," subtitle "Chapter 8. Teachers' Certificates,
Salaries and Pensions," subheading "Teachers' Retirement System,"
to follow immediately after subsection 116(7) (g) thereof, and to read
as follows:

(7)(h) When determining the amount of supplementary pay-
ments, the Board of Trustees shall not consider any additional
voluntary contributions by any teacher to his Annuity Savings
Account.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That new subsection 56(7)(e)
be and it is hereby added to Article 88B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title
"State Police," subtitle "State Police Retirement System," to follow
immediately after subsection 56(7) (d) thereof, and to read as
follows:
56.
(7)(e) When determining the amount of supplementary pay-
ments, the Board of Trustees shall not consider any additional
voluntary contributions by any employee to his Annuity Savings
Account.
Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
