(Senate Bill 59)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 321 of
Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement
Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Testamentary Law," subtitle
"Sales," amending the probate laws in order to correct erroneous
wording therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 321 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Testamen-
tary Law," subtitle "Sales," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
321.
For the purpose of ascertaining the value of said real estate, they
are hereby authorized to [reply] rely on the appraisement of such
real estate theretofore or thereafter filed for inheritance tax pur-
poses; and if said appraisement should exceed the sum of fifteen
thousand dollars ($15,000) the said orphans' court shall not proceed
to order said sales; provided, however, that such limitation shall not
apply to the Orphans' Court for Montgomery County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 126 (a)
of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Re-
placement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "State Roads,"
subtitle "Bonds, Notes or Other Evidence of Indebtedness,"
amending the public highway laws in order to correct erroneous
wording therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 126 (a) of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title
"State Roads," subtitle "Bonds, Notes or Other Evidence of In-
debtedness," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
