Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 150A be and it is hereby added to Article 23 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume and 1967
Supplement), title "Corporations," subtitle "Particular Classes of
Corporations," subheading "Building or Homestead Associations,"
to follow immediately after Section 150 thereof and to read as follows:

150 A.

On and after July 1, 1973 all savings and loan associations and

building associations in this State shall be members of the Federal
Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation or the Maryland Savings
Share Insurance Corporations, so that all customer accounts in these
associations will be insured to the maximum limit prescribed by law.

ON AND AFTER JULY 1,1973, ALL FREE SHARE ACCOUNTS
OF ASSOCIATIONS IN THIS STATE SHALL BE INSURED BY
THE FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN INSURANCE CORPORA-
TION OR THE MARYLAND SAVINGS-SHARE INSURANCE
CORPORATION TO THE MAXIMUM LIMIT PRESCRIBED BY
LAW.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 480
(House Bill 1369)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5(D-2)
of Chapter 759 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1967,
this Act being the" so-called State Construction Bond Bill for
1967, in order to change the purpose for land acquisition in an
appropriation therein to the State Department of Game and Inland
Fish, and relating generally to the conditions for and effect of
this change.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5(D-2) of Chapter 759 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1967, this Act being the so-called State Construction
Bond Bill for 1967, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, and to read as follows:

(D-2) Department of Game and Inland Fish:

[Acquisition of Land near Poolesville, Maryland (approximately
700 acres), provided that if any Federal or other funds are or be-
come available for this purpose, they shall be used to reduce this
appropriation]
