UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION IMMEDIATELY
UPON HIS RESIGNATION, BUT IN NO EVENT IN A SUM
GREATER THAN WAS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION AT THE
TIME HE RESIGNED; AND EXCEPT FOR A JUDGE WHO HAS
RESIGNED OR WHO RESIGNS BECAUSE OF INCAPACITATING
ILLNESS, NO OTHER JUDGE WHO HAS RESIGNED OR WHO
RESIGNS PRIOR TO REACHING HIS SIXTIETH BIRTHDAY IS
ENTITLED TO ANY BENEFITS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF
THIS SECTION.

(h) The mayor and city council of Baltimore and the county
commissioners or county councils of the several counties are hereby
expressly [authorized] forbidden to levy for and pay supplementa-
tion of
[additional] pensions IN AN AMOUNT GREATER THAN
THAT IN EFFECT ON JUNE 1, 1968 [or salaries] to [such] former
judges of the Court of Appeals, the Court of Special Appeals, the
Supreme Bench of Baltimore City and the circuit courts of the
counties who served or may hereafter serve in the judicial circuits
in which the City of Baltimore or any county exercising the au-
thority conferred herein is located;. [and any such provision here-
tofore made is hereby ratified and confirmed.] provided, however,
that such
supplementation of pensions as is provided by the local
political subdivision or subdivisions for judges who retired or be-

came disabled prior to July
JUNE 1, 1968 may continue to be paid.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT ON
JULY 1, 1969, SECTION 12.4 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC
LOCAL LAWS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY (1963 EDI-
TION AND 1967 SUPPLEMENT, BEING ARTICLE 17 OF
THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND),
TITLE "PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY," SUBTITLE "CIRCUIT
COURT," SUBHEADING "JUDGES' SALARIES," AS THIS
SECTION WAS LAST AMENDED BY CHAPTER 925 OF
THE ACTS OF 1965, BE AND IT IS HEREBY REPEALED.

SEC. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT ON
JULY 1, 1969, SECTION 5-8 OF THE CODE OF FREDERICK
COUNTY, MARYLAND 1959, BEING ARTICLE 11 OF THE
CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND, TITLE
"FREDERICK COUNTY," SUBTITLE "COURTS," SUBHEAD-
ING "ARTICLE II, CIRCUIT COURT," AS THIS SECTION
WAS LAST AMENDED BY CHAPTER 363 OF THE ACTS OF
1965, BE AND IT HEREBY REPEALED.

SEC. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT ON
JULY 1, 1969, SECTION 7-13 OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY
CODE 1965, BEING ARTICLE 16 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC
LOCAL LAWS OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TITLE "MONT-
GOMERY COUNTY," SUBTITLE "COURTS," SUBHEADING
"ARTICLE II. CIRCUIT COURT GENERALLY," BE AND IT
IS HEREBY REPEALED.

SEC. 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT ON
JULY 1, 1969, SECTIONS 201 (A) AND (B) OF THE CODE
OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF HARFORD COUNTY (1965
EDITION) BEING ARTICLE 13 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC
