ARTICLE. VEHICLES HAVING A DUMP SERVICE REGISTRA-
TION AND BEING OPERATED FOR THE HAULING OF LOOSE
MATERIALS IN BULK WITHIN A RADIUS OF NOT MORE
THAN FORTY (40) MILES OF THE POINT OF PICKUP AND
DELIVERY SHALL NOT BE SUBJECT TO ANY RESTRIC-
TIONS OF THIS ARTICLE PERTAINING TO WEIGHT OF VE-
HICLE, WEIGHT OF VEHICLE AND LOAD HOWEVER DE-
TERMINED, AND/OR AXLE LOADS, EXCEPT ONLY THAT
AT ALL TIMES SUCH VEHICLES SHALL BE LIMITED AS TO
GROSS WEIGHT BY THE ALLOWABLE AND PAID REGIS-
TRATION WEIGHT, BUT IF AT A POINT BEYOND THE HERE-
IN AUTHORIZED FORTY (40) MILE RADIUS OR HAULING
MATERIALS OTHER THAN LOOSE MATERIALS IN BULK,
SHALL BE SUBJECT TO ALL OF THE APPLICABLE RESTRIC-
TIONS OF THIS ARTICLE.

[(3) The Department shall pay to the county or Baltimore City
in which the owner of a Class E motor vehicle resides, the following
sums for such vehicles as per chassis weight as shown above:

¾ ton or less                                 $ 5.00

Over ¾ ton to 2,500                                     5.00

2,501 to 4,000                                     8.00

4,001 to 5,000                                   15.00

5,001 to 6,000                                   20.00

6,001 to 7,500                                   35.00

7,501 to 9,000                                   35.00

Over 9,001                                   50.00

and the sum of fifty ($50.00) dollars for each dump service regis-
tration, and provided further, that anything herein to the contrary
notwithstanding, applications may be made and shall be accepted
for such dump service registrations commencing June 1, 1953, so
that there shall be no deferment of same.]

[(4) If the owner of any such vehicle also resides within the
corporate limits of any municipality or special taxing area in a
county, such municipality or special taxing area shall be entitled to
receive from the county one half (½) of the fee paid to the county
for such vehicle.]

[(5)] (3) If such vehicle is a single unit truck owned by a
farmer and qualified as a farm truck, as those terms are defined
hereinbelow, it shall pay a registration fee based upon gross shipping
weight of the chassis and battery as certified by the manufacturer,
with gross weight limitations for the vehicle and load, as follows:

[(6) The Department shall pay to the county or Baltimore City
in which the owner of a Class E farm truck resides the following
sums for such motor vehicles as per chassis weight in pounds as
shown above:
