"County Liquor Control Boards and Dispensaries", to fix the com-
pensation of the Kent County Liquor Control Board.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 159(h) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition and 1967 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Bev-
erages", subtitle "County Liquor Control Boards and Dispensaries",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

159.

(h) Members of the several boards shall receive compensation
as follows:

(1)    Caroline County—Five hundred dollars per annum.

(1A) Garrett County—Twelve hundred dollars ($1,200) per an-
num, with a mileage fee of ten cents per mile when in attendance
upon meetings.

(2)    Harford County—Twelve hundred dollars per annum, pro-
vided that an additional compensation shall be paid board members
for administrative services.

(3)    Kent County—[Three hundred dollars per annum.] Fifteen
dollars ($15.00) for each day they meet on official business.

(4)    Montgomery County—The salary of the director of the de-
partment of liquor control shall be fixed by the county manager with
the approval of the County Council.

(5)     Somerset County—One thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per
annum.

(6)    Wicomico County—Nine hundred dollars per annum, and a
salary of three hundred dollars per annum for the chairman of the
board, in addition to and over and above such compensation pre-
scribed herein for members of the said board.

(7)    Worcester County—Twelve hundred dollars per annum, with
a mileage fee of ten cents per mile when in attendance upon meetings.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
