not be counted in the computation of such aggregate number of
alcoholic beverages licenses. Such quota shall be computed and
applied separately for each of the several election districts of Cecil
County.
(i) In Cecil County the board of license commissioners are au-
thorized to approve the issue of an additional license, to be known
as a motel-restaurant complex or hotel-restaurant complex license,
covering "on sales" of beer, wine and liquor to any person. The fee
for any such license shall be fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00)
annually. Such licenses shall be issued only to motel-restaurant
complexes or hotel-restaurant complexes that have a capital invest-
ment of not less than $500,000.00 and an enclosed dining room which
serves full-course meals from menus at least twice daily.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

(House Bill 608)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 158(j)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1967 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle
"Boards of License Commissioners," to provide for the salary for
the liquor inspector for Queen Anne's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 158 (j) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1967 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages,"
subtitle "Boards of License Commissioners," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
158.
(j) The board of license commissioners of Queen Anne's County
shall appoint a full-time inspector and fix his compensation at a figure
not less than [twenty-seven hundred dollars ($2,700.00) and not
more than thirty-three hundred dollars ($3,300.00)] three thousand
dollars ($3,000.00) per annum plus an allowance for mileage not to
exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) per annum. The said inspector
shall have the duty of visiting and inspecting every premises in
Queen Anne's County licensed under the provisions of this article at
least every sixty days. The said board of license commissioners also
shall appoint an attorney to handle legal matters for the board and
set his compensation at not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00)
per annum.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
