CHAPTER 30
(House Bill 92)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 19A(4)
of Article 88B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replace-
ment Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "State Police," subtitle
"In General," amending the laws pertaining to the Maryland State
Police in order to correct erroneous wording therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19A(4) of Article 88B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1964 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title
"State Police," subtitle "In General," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
19A.
(4) The Superintendent shall [tender] render to contributing
agencies as defined in Section 2, all reasonable information and as-
sistance from the said records to assist in the identification and
apprehension of criminals and publish on an annual basis a summary
report of all fingerprints received and offenses reported as provided
in this section, such report to include a summary of all identifying
or other statistical data which the Superintendent may prescribe;
provided, however, that such summary report shall be so compiled
as not to use the names of any individuals arrested for crime or
confined as a result thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 284G(c)
of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replace-
ment Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Public Education,"
subtitle "State Scholarship Board," amending the public educa-
tion laws in order to correct erroneous wording therein.
