poration.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal Section 551A(c) of Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supple-
ment), title "Crimes and Punishments"; subtitle "Shoplifting,"
correcting errors in the law concerning civil liability for detention
or arrest.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 551A (c) be and it is hereby repealed, of Article 27 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Replacement Volume and
1967 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Shop-
lifting."

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

(House Bill 198)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 154 (b)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Re-
placement Volume), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Waterfowl and
Migratory Birds," to change the date when owners of riparian
rights, their lessees or licensees, on the waters of Queen Anne's
County shall have the right to make a choice of the set or posi-
tion as provided in subsection (a).

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 154(b) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1967 Replacement Volume), title "Natural Resources," sub-
title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Water-
fowl and Migratory Birds," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
