motor vehicles may be required to attend the traffic school, under
the conditions hereinafter described. The traffic school, which shall
have as its purposes driver education and safety, shall be under the
direction and control of the judges of the People's Court, and it shall
be operated by the county police of Prince George's County. Viola-
tors may be required to attend the traffic school for a period of time
not to exceed an aggregate of ten hours. The traffic school shall be
held at such times and in such places as may be designated by the
judges of the People's Court.
The laws which heretofore have specified the fees chargeable by
trial magistrates and justices of the peace in said counties and also
the laws previously concerning the right of appeal from the trial
magistrates and justices of the peace in said counties shall continue
in all respects to be effective as to the People's Court of Montgomery
County and the People's Court of Prince George's County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 10(f)
and 12 of Article 51 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967
Supplement), title "Juries," subtitle "Qualification and Selection
of Jurors," to change the selection of the grand and petit jury in
Calvert County by providing that there shall be only one drawing
and relating generally to the selection of grand and petit jurors
in Calvert County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 10(f) and 12 of Article 51 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1967 Supplement), title "Juries," subtitle "Qualification
and Selection of Jurors," be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
10. Drawing; special provisions as to certain counties.
(f) Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's Counties. When said list of
names is selected as directed in Section 9, the procedure in Charles,
[and] St. Mary's, and Calvert Counties shall be as follows: The
clerk of the court shall assign a number to each name on the list
ranging from one to three hundred (but not less than one hundred
and fifty). Said clerk shall procure a box of suitable size with pellets
of uniform size, color, shape and weight. Each pellet shall contain
a number thereon corresponding to the numbers on the list above
referred to. The clerk shall shake the box and the drawing shall
take place in accordance with the provisions of subsection (a), except
that the numbers drawn shall be 47. The first 22 pellets so drawn
shall determine the selection of the grand jury except for the fore-
man, and the remaining 25 pellets shall determine the selection of
