(j) In Baltimore City no renewal license shall be issued by the
clerk of the Court of Common Pleas unless and until there is
presented to him a certificate, issued by the Bureau of Assessments,
showing that there are no unpaid taxes on the merchandise, fixtures
and stock of the applicant due to the City of Baltimore or the
State of Maryland.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1968.
