Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 130 (b) and 130 (c) be and they are hereby added to
Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement
Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Corporations," subtitle "Stock
Corporations," subheading "Recording and Filing with the State Tax
Commission," to follow immediately after Section 130 (a) thereof,
and to read as follows:
130.
(b) The Department shall pay over one-quarter of the, recording
fee collected by it to the clerk of court to whom each charter paper
is transmitted for recording. The Department shall pay over 50¢
out of the special fee collected by it to the clerk of court to whom
each notice of change of principal office, and notice of change of
name or address of resident agent is transmitted for recording. The
Department shall pay over $1 out of the special fee collected by it to
the clerk of court to whom each certificate of Consolidation, merger,
sale, lease, exchange or transfer is transmitted for recording.
(c) The Department shall account quarterly to the Comptroller
for all bonus taxes and for all recording, filing or other fees col-
lected by the Department as in this section provided, and shall pay
the same forthwith to the State Treasurer for the use of the State.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 129
(Senate Bill 263)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 129 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replace-
ment Volume) title "Health," subtitle "Practitioners of Medi-
cine," increasing the filing fee for registration of practitioners of
medicine and surgery upon a change of residence from one county
to another.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 129 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume), title "Health," subtitle "Practitioners
of Medicine" be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
129.
Any person receiving a license from the Board before commencing
the practice of medicine and surgery in this State shall file the same
with the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which he or she
may reside, or with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Baltimore City,
if said person shall reside therein, and it shall be the duty of the
said clerk to record said license in full, together with the home ad-
