(G) IF AN APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE IS REFUSED
BY THE LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD FOR CAROLINE COUNTY
ON GROUNDS RELATING TO THE SUITABILITY OF THE
APPLICANT OR APPLICANTS, THEN NO FURTHER AP-
PLICATION SHALL BE RECEIVED BY THE BOARD FROM
SUCH APPLICANT OR APPLICANTS, FOR ANY TYPE OF
LICENSE AT ANY PREMISES, FOR SIX MONTHS AFTER
THE DATE OF SUCH REFUSAL. IF AN APPLICATION FOR
A LICENSE IS REFUSED ON GROUNDS RELATING TO
THE SUITABILITY OF THE PREMISES APPLIED FOR,
THEN NO FURTHER APPLICATION FOR ANY TYPE OF
LICENSE FOR SAID PREMISES SHALL BE RECEIVED BY
THE BOARD FOR ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF SUCH
REFUSAL.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 751
(House Bill 1040)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of
Dorchester County from time to time, to borrow not exceeding
Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000) in order to
finance the construction, development, improvement or extension
of certain public facilities, as herein defined, and to effect such
borrowing by the issuance and sale to the highest bidder or bid-
ders at public sale of its general obligation, serial maturity, cou-

with amendments, and that new Section 67 (g) be and it is hereby
added to said Article, title and subtitle of said Code, to follow im-
mediately after Section 67(f) thereof, and all to read as follows:

67.

(b) This section shall not apply to Baltimore City or to Anne
Arundel, Montgomery, Caroline or Prince George's counties.

(g) No class of license previously applied for, for the retail sale

of alcoholic beverages, shall be issued in Caroline County to any

person who has been refused the issue of any such class of license,

nor to or for any premises for which a license has been refused,

within a period of six months from such refusal by the Liquor Con-

trol Board of Caroline County. If a subsequent application by the
same applicant or the same premises is refused, then no further
application shall be considered from such applicant until a one year

period has elapsed, provided, after the second refusal, that such

restriction against the issue of a license to or for any premises

shall not be effective if in the judgment of the Liquor Control Board

of Caroline County such refusal was directed against the person or
persons applying for the prior license, and not against the premises

in question.
