ments shall be construed as relieving any person of any duty of
exercising reasonable care in selecting securities.

18-22. Separability.

If any provision of this subheading, or the application thereof to
any person or circumstances, is held invalid, the remainder of the
subheading and the application of such provision to persons or cir-
cumstances other than those as to which it is held invalid, shall not
be affected thereby. The powers conferred by this subheading shall
be in addition and supplemental to the powers conferred by any
other law.

18-23. Review and approval.

All plans, whether preliminary or final, prepared or presented
under the provisions of this subheading by the county shall not con-
flict with, and must conform to the master plan for Prince George's
County. This provision shall be construed to mean that all urban
renewal plans effecting a change in zoning shall be reviewed by the
Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission, and any
zoning amendments pursuant to this urban renewal program must
be approved by the district council.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 721
(House Bill 1364)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 2-146
and 2-158(c) of Chapter 2 of the Montgomery County Code 1965,
title, "Administration," subtitle "Article XIX. Revenue Author-
ity," as that subtitle was enacted by Sections 3 and 6(c) of Chap-
ter 446 of the Laws of Maryland of 1957, title "Montgomery
County Revenue Authority Act," to expand the purposes of the
Montgomery County Revenue Authority to include constructing,
improving, equipping, furnishing, maintaining, acquiring, and op-
erating projects devoted to the general welfare of the County
including projects to stimulate employment or economic growth;
housing for special age groups; and to raise the maximum maturity
period of revenue bonds, certificates or other evidence of indebted-
ness to fifty years from their date.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 2-146 and 2-158(c) of Chapter 2 of the Montgomery
County Code 1965, title "Administration," subtitle "Article XIX.
Revenue Authority," the same being Sections 3 and 6(c) of Chap-
ter 446 of the Laws of Maryland of 1957, title "Montgomery County
Revenue Authority Act," be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
