($2,000.00); and for a change from any class of either beer license
or beer and wine license to any other class of beer, wine and liquor
license, the fee for the transfer is three thousand dollars ($3,000.00).
All of the above transfer fee shall be in addition to the regular fee
provided in this Article for the license applied for. THE FEE FOR
ISSUANCE OF ANY NEW LICENSE AFTER JULY 1, 1968
SHALL BE THE SAME AS THE TRANSFER FEE OF THE
CLASS OR TYPE OF LICENSE BEING APPLIED FOR, PLUS
THE REGULAR YEARLY FEE PROVIDED FOR IN THIS
ARTICLE.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT NEW
SECTION 21(1-2) BE AND IT IS HEREBY ADDED TO SAID
ARTICLE AND TITLE OF SAID CODE, SUBTITLE "BEER,
WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSES," TO FOLLOW IMMEDI-
ATELY AFTER SECTION 21(I-1) THEREOF, AND THAT
SECTION 21 (J) OF SAID ARTICLE, TITLE AND SUBTITLE
OF .SAID CODE IS HEREBY REPEALED AND RE-ENACTED,
WITH AMENDMENTS, ALL TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

21(1-2) IN CECIL COUNTY THE ANNUAL FEE FOR SUCH
LICENSES SHALL BE SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY
DOLLARS ($750.00).

21(J) SUCH LICENSES SHALL BE ISSUED ONLY IN
BALTIMORE CITY, ALLEGANY, ANNE ARUNDEL, BALTI-
MORE, CHARLES, CECIL, HOWARD, KENT, ST. MARY'S,
AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES AND IN THE TOWNS OF
NORTH BEACH AND CHESAPEAKE BEACH IN CALVERT
COUNTY AND IN THE TOWN OF OCEAN CITY IN
WORCESTER COUNTY.

Sec. 2 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 701
(House Bill 604)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Charles County to borrow one and one-half million
dollars ($1,500,000) upon the credit of the County and to issue
bonds or notes therefor and to levy county taxes to pay the
principal of and the interest of such bonds or notes.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Board of County Commissioners of Charles County is
hereby authorized and empowered to borrow at such time or times
as it may be decided upon the faith and credit of the county a sum
or sums of money not to exceed one and one-half million dollars
($1,500,000) at a rate of interest not to exceed five percentum
(5%) per annum for the purpose of extending, improving, con-
structing and repairing an addition to Physician's Memorial Hos-
pital in Charles County, the particular purpose or purposes to
be determined by the said Board.
