WHICH HAVE BEEN APPLIED TO THE DWELLING UNIT
CONCERNED.

(c) The governing body of Prince George's County may further
provide for the procedure applying to any such tax credit, in a
manner not inconsistent with this section.

(D) THE TAX CREDIT PROVIDED FOR IN THIS SECTION
SHALL BE APPLICABLE TO TAXATION IN PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY ONLY. NOTHING CONTAINED IN THIS SECTION
SHALL BE CONSTRUED OR SHALL BE APPLIED TO CHANGE
THE NORMAL AND REGULAR ASSESSMENT PROCEDURES
WHICH ARE APPLICABLE IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

(House Bill 132)

AN ACT to add eleven new sections under the new subheading
"Redevelopment—Urban Renewal" to the Charter of the Town
of Riverdale as said charter is contained in the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County (1963 Edition, as amended,
being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland)
title "Prince George's County," subtitle "Riverdale," to authorize
and empower the Town of Riverdale to carry out urban renewal
projects and the redevelopment and rehabilitation of slum or
blighted areas, including the acquisition of property for such pur-
poses with certain provisions in regard to such acquisition by the
exercise of the power of eminent domain; declaring such activi-
ties to constitute functions in furtherance of which the Town of
Riverdale may exercise the power of taxation, spend public funds
and extend public credit; granting to the Town of Riverdale cer-
tain additional powers and authority necessary or proper to carry
into full force or effect the powers hereinabove mentioned and to
place certain restrictions and limitations on certain powers granted.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That eleven new sections be and they are hereby added to the Charter
of the Town of Riverdale as said charter is contained in the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1963 Edition, as
amended, being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland) title "Prince George's County," subtitle "Riverdale," to
be under the new subheading "Redevelopment—Urban Renewal,"
and to read as follows:

Section 63-33. DEFINITIONS:

(a) The following terms wherever used or referred to in this
article shall have the following meanings, unless a different meaning
is clearly indicated by the context:
