section shall apply to Baltimore, Charles, Harford, Montgomery,
Prince George's, Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Calvert, St.
Mary's
or Cecil counties. In Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and
Worcester counties the Clerk of the County Commissioners or clerk
or secretary of the county council, as the case may be, for each
county, shall furnish the list of taxable inhabitants or residents of
their respective county only upon request of the judge of the Circuit
Court for said county. Special local laws exist for Anne Arundel
[and St. Mary's counties] county.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

CHAPTER 643
(House Bill 125)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 24A-1
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1967
Supplement), being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Prince George's County," subtitle "Domestic
Relations Causes," relating generally to the salary of the Masters
for Domestic Relations Causes in Prince George's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 24A-1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1967 Supplement), being Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County,"
subtitle "Domestic Relations Causes," be and is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

24A-1. Master; Appointment, Salary.

The Circuit Court for Prince George's County is authorized and
empowered to designate, and appoint and employ no more than two
qualified persons to be known as the Master or Masters for Domestic
Relations Causes of the Circuit Court of Prince George's County for
the purpose of hearing such cases of a domestic relations nature
and performing other similar and related duties as may be from time
to time prescribed by said Court. Persons so employed shall be mem-
bers of the bar of the State of Maryland and shall receive an annual
salary [of $10,000.00, the same to be paid as part of the expenses of
the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Prince George's
County.] provided by the County Commissioners of Prince George's
County in such amount as they may from time to time prescribe
after consultation with the court; and the clerk of the circuit court
for Prince George's County shall reimburse the said County Com-
missioners for salary so paid from the costs collected pursuant to
Section 24A-4 of this subtitle.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.
