AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 128 (a)
of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Corporations," sub-
title "I. Stock Corporations," subheading "Fees, Recording and
Filing with the State Department of Assessments and Taxation,"
amending the laws pertaining to corporations in order to correct
erroneous wording therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 128 (a) of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1966 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Cor-
porations," subtitle "I. Stock Corporations," subheading "Fees, Re-
cording and Filing with the State Department of Assessments and
Taxation" be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

128.

(a) The Department shall not accept for record any charter paper
of a corporation in this State, which is not in conformity with law
but any instrument purporting on its [fact] face to have been ac-
knowledged may be considered by the Department as properly ac-
knowledged.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1968.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 266-0
(4) and (6) of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supplement), title "Governor
—Executive and Administrative Departments," subtitle "Depart-
ment of Economic Development," subheading "Maryland Indus-
trial Development Financing Authority Act," amending the laws
relating to Maryland Industrial Development Financing in order
to correct erroneous wording therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 266-0 (4) and (6) of Article 41 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume and 1967 Supple-
ment), title "Governor—Executive and Administrative Depart-
ments," subtitle "Department of Economic Development," subhead-
ing "Maryland Industrial Development Financing Authority Act,"
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
