(House Bill 253)
AN ACT to repeal Section 6-1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Anne Arundel County (1957 Edition, being Article 2 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County,"
subtitle "Courts," subheading "Number and Time of Terms," as
last amended by Chapter 217 of the Acts of 1965; repealing the
law setting the number and meeting times of the terms of court
for the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6-1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County (1957 Edition, being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County," subtitle "Courts,"
subheading "Number and Time of Terms," as last amended by
Chapter 217 of the Acts of 1965, be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 74
(House Bill 697)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 51 (c) of
Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement
Volume), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "County Treas-
urers," providing an allowance for clerical help to the Calvert
County Treasurer.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 51 (c) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "County Commissioners," sub-
title "County Treasurers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
51.
(c) The county treasurer of Calvert County shall receive an
annual salary of $6,000.00 and an allowance for clerical help inciden-
tal to his office of $3,000.00 per year during the term of office, said
allowance for clerical help to be paid out in monthly installments.
He shall appoint one deputy treasurer, who shall receive an annual
salary of $4,500.00; and he shall appoint one clerk-stenographer, who
shall receive such annual compensation as may be set by the County
Commissioners from time to time.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
