(1966 Replacement Volume), title "Clerks of Courts," subtitle
"Clerks of Circuit Courts and Superior Court of Baltimore City,
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
63A.
No fee-simple deed, mortgage or deed of trust shall be received by
the clerk of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County for record
among the land records unless there is a certification thereon that it
has been prepared by an attorney duly admitted to practice before
the Court of Appeals of Maryland or under his supervision or by one
of the parties named in the instrument. Provided, however, that all
fee-simple deeds, mortgages or deeds of trust executed prior to June
1,1966 shall be exempt from the provisions of this section.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

(House Bill 1071)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 153,
156 and 158 (b) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Calvert
County (1963 Edition, being Article 5 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Calvert County," subtitle "Electrical
Apparatus and Wiring," to provide for changes in the qualifica-
tions, tenure and appointment of members of the Board of
Electrical Examiners and Supervisors for Calvert County; to adopt
certain rules in relation to changes in rules, regulations and fees
by said Board; and to make certain changes in relation to who
shall take examinations for a license as a Master Electrician in
Calvert County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland.
That Sections 153, 156 and 158 (b) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Calvert County (1963 Edition, being Article 5 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Calvert County," subtitle
"Electrical Apparatus and Wiring," be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
153.
There is hereby created a Board of Electrical Examiners and
Supervisors for Calvert County, the said Board to consist of three
persons, for the purpose of examining into the qualifications and
capabilities of all persons who are engaged or desire to engage in
the business of Master Electrician as defined in this subtitle. The
said board shall be appointed by the Governor with the advice and
consent of the Senate from a list of five persons submitted by the
Calvert County Electrical Contractors Association, for a term of
two years. All members of the Board shall be Master Electricians
