to repeal Section 21 (g) of said Article and title of said Code, sub-
title "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," and to enact a new Section
21 (g) to stand in place of the section so repealed, to raise certain
alcoholic beverage license fees in Howard County and to allow
certain licensees to sell on Sunday and certain specified dates.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 8(j), 11(i), 18(j), 20(h-3), 89(g), and 100 of Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Sup-
plement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitles "Beer Licenses,"
"Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," and "Hours and Days for Sale,"
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments;
that Section 21 (g) of said Article and title of said Code, subtitle
"Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed and
that a new Section 21 (g) be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof,
to stand in place of the section so repealed, and all to read as follows:

(j) In Howard County, the annual license fee shall be one hun-
dred and fifty dollars [($100.)] ($150.).

(i) In Howard County the annual license fee for such license
shall be one hundred and fifty dollars [($100.00)] ($150.00),

(j) In Howard County the license fee shall be [four] five hun-
dred dollars [($400.00)] ($500.00) annually.

20.

(h-3) In Howard County such a license may be issued to a coun-
try club or to the owner or owners thereof, regardless of whether
said club is operated for profit or not, but provided that said club
has a bona fide annual limited membership and which shall have at
the time of issuance of the license a regular or championship golf
course adjacent to the premises for which a license is sought of
eighteen holes and other club facilities. The annual fee for such a
license shall be [one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)] fifteen hundred
dollars ($1,500).
In Howard County, such a license may be issued
to a club composed exclusively of members who served in the armed
forces of the United States, which is affiliated with a national organ-
ization, and having seventy-five or more bona fide members paying
such dues as required by its national organization the year imme-
diately preceding the year for which such license is issued. At least
seventy-five per cent (75%) of the members of such club shall have
resided in Howard County for at least two years immediately pre-
ceding the date of application for said license and said club shall also
have maintained a post in said county for at least three years preced-
ing the date of said application. The annual fee for such a license
shall be two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00).

21.

(g) In Howard County there shall be two type Class D beer,
wine and liquor licenses. There shall be a seven day license for
