of Montgomery County is hereby expressly authorized to levy for any
pay pensions and salaries to such former judges of the People's Court
who served on the said Court upon the terms and for the periods as
herein provided; and any such provision heretofore made is hereby
ratified and confirmed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 334
(House Bill 944)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 40(t) of
Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement),
title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact," subtitle "State's
Attorney," to increase the annual expense allowance of the State's
Attorney of Somerset County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 40 (t) of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact,"
subtitle "State's Attorney," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
40.
(t) In Somerset County, (1) the State's Attorney's salary is
twenty-four hundred dollars ($2,400).
(2) The State's Attorney's allowance for the expenses of his
office is [two thousand dollars ($2,000)] four THREE thousand
dollars ($4,000) ($3,000).
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to add new Section 123A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Kent County (1959 Edition, being Article 15 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Kent County," subtitle

thereof, to create the office of the County Administrator of Kent
County; making general provision for the appointment, powers,
functions, and duties of this officer and the operation of his office;
