added to said Section 109 to follow immediately after subsection (c)
thereof and to read as follows:
109.
(c-1) The Comptroller may require, by regulation, that suppliers
of wholesalers of distilled spirits affirm that the net price of each
item offered for sale, exclusive of routine transportation costs, is no
higher than the lowest price at which such item is being offered for
sale elsewhere within the United States, including the District of
Columbia.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 52
(House Bill 133)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1 of
Article 70 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Official Oaths," to change the time when the Governor of
Maryland takes his oath of office in order to conform this time
to the provisions of Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution re-
garding the beginning of the term of office of the Governor.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 1 of Article 70 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Official Oaths," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
1.
The Governor shall take and subscribe the oath prescribed by the
Constitution on the [second] fourth Wednesday of January next
ensuing his election or as soon thereafter as may be practicable
between the hours of twelve and two o'clock P.M. in the Senate
Chamber before the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals, or in
case of his sickness, absence or inability from any other cause to
attend, before one of the associate judges of said court; and the
said oath shall be recorded in the test book of the Court of Appeals.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
