course, a swimming pool at least 20 by 40 feet in size, and at least
six tennis courts.
Provided that any such club or organization shall purchase all
liquor and wines from the Garrett County liquor control board
LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD, and shall be charged therefor, the
invoice price of the liquor control board plus freight charges thereon,
and plus 20% of such aggregate invoice price and freight charges
from time to time; provided, however, when said purchase is of at
least one case of any product OR A COMBINATION OF PRODUCTS
offered for sale, then the price charged for said case shall be the
actual cost of same to the Garrett County liquor control board
LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD plus ten per cent (10%) thereof and
freight charges.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to add new Subsection (6) to Section 19(f-l) and new
Subsection (v) to Section 20(h-l) of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses,"
to follow, respectively, after Subsections (5) and (iv) thereof, to
provide that the Garrett County LIQUOR CONTROL Board of
License Commissioners shall consider when it has a license appli-
cation before it whether the business place or premises for which
the license has been requested and the type of business there to be
operated is likely to enhance the recreational, business and eco-
nomic development of the county.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Subsections (6) and (v) be and they are hereby added,
respectively, to Sections 19(f-l) and 20(h-l) of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor
Licenses," to follow, respectively, after Subsections (5) and (iv)
thereof, all to read as follows:

(f-1)(6) It shall be the duty of the Garrett LIQUOR CONTROL
BOARD County Board of License Commissioners before issuing any
license hereunder to determine whether the business to be operated
by the prospective licensee is likely to enhance the recreational, busi-
ness and economic development of the county. If the Board of License
Commissioners LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD in its discretion deter-
mines that issuance of such a license will not enhance such develop-
ment within the county, it shall reject the application for such license.
