of the Kent County Board of Education.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 14A of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Replacement Volume), title "Public Education," subtitle
"Chapter 2. Formation of Boards," be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
14A.
On and after May 1, 1966, the County Board of Education of
Kent County shall be composed of five members. The present mem-
bers of said Board, (at the time of the passage of this section),
shall continue to hold their offices for the terms for which they
were appointed. However, the vacancy on the present Board ex-
piring in 1965 shall be filled for a six-year term. The Governor
shall appoint two persons on May 1, 1966, to serve on said Board
for terms of two and four years respectively. At the expiration of
the terms of office above mentioned, including two of the incumbent
members, the two additional members appointed in 1966 and the
term of the remaining incumbent to be filled in 1965 and running to
1971, the Governor shall appoint new members for five-year terms
to fill each vacancy. Beginning with the new appointees in May of
1966, each Board member shall receive an annual expense allowance
of [$200] $400.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 197 of
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1966 Supplement), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog Licenses in the
Counties," to provide that monies arising from dog licenses or
taxes go into the general funds and monies paid for damages by
dogs are made from the general funds.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 197 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog
Licenses in the Counties," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows :

All monies arising from the dog licenses or taxes shall be kept in
a separate fund by the treasurer of the respective counties, or tax
