CHAPTER 202
(House Bill 111)
AN ACT to add new Section 90(b) (3) to Article 2B of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale,"
to follow immediately after Section 90(b)(2) thereof, to allow
the sale of alcoholic beverages to be consumed with meals by
hotels, CLUBS, and restaurants in Talbot County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 90 (b) (3) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for
Sale," to follow immediately after Section 90(b)(2) thereof, and to
read as follows:

(b) (3) Except that in Talbot County it shall be lawful between
the hours of 2:00 o'clock P.M. and Midnight 10:00 O'CLOCK P.M.
on Sunday for a Class B OR C, beer licensee to sell beer and a Class
B OR C, beer, wine, and liquor licensee to sell beer, wine and liquor,
provided that these alcoholic beverages are consumed on the premises
in the course of a meal.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 521 (b) of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1966 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-heading "Sabbath Breaking,"
excepting KENT, QUEEN ANNE'S AND Talbot County from
the restriction against sales, etc. of certain merchandise on Sunday.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 521 (b) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments," subtitle "Crimes and Punishments," subheading "Sabbath
