13.07.00.17 Medical Scholarships

Appropriations are to be disbursed by the
Treasury Department to the University of
Maryland School of Medicine, on transmittal
from the State Scholarship Board, in accord-
ance with regulations prescribed by said
Board and the provisions of Article 77, Sec-
tion 284J, of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, 1957 Edition and the 1966 Cumulative
Supplement. This appropriation is contin-
gent upon the school's complying with the
provisions of Article 85A, Section 16 of the
1957 Annotated Code.
General Fund Appropriation ......................         30,000

13.07.00.18 Education of War Orphans and Children of Dis-
abled Veterans

General Fund Appropriation ............................ 200,000

IF SENATE BILL 320 OR A SUBSTANTIAL EQUIVALENT
THEREOF IS ENACTED INTO LAW AT THE 1967 REGULAR SES-
SION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND/OR IF SENATE BILL 322
OR A SUBSTANTIAL EQUIVALENT THEREOF IS ENACTED INTO
LAW AT THE 1967 REGULAR SESSION OF THE GENERAL AS-
SEMBLY, THE SEVERAL APPROPRIATIONS SPECIFIED IN THIS
HEADING "STATE SCHOLARSHIP BOARD" TO SPECIFIC EDU-
CATIONAL INSTITUTIONS SHALL BE APPROPRIATED INSTEAD
TO AND FOR THE PURPOSES AND UNDER THE PROCEDURES
IN SAID SENATE BILL 320 OR ITS SUBSTANTIAL EQUIVALENT
AND/OR IN SAID SENATE BILL 322 OR ITS SUBSTANTIAL EQUIV-
ALENT, IN EITHER OR BOTH EVENTS TO BE EXPENDED BY
THE STATE SCHOLARSHIP BOARD. ALSO, ANY APPROPRIA-
TIONS ELSEWHERE IN THIS BUDGET BILL TO THE SPECIFIC
ACCOUNT OF AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION AND FOR SPE-
CIFIC PURPOSES COVERED BY SENATE BILLS 320 AND 322, OR
THEIR SUBSTANTIAL EQUIVALENTS, ARE SUBJECT TO THE
SAME CONTINGENCY; IF SENATE BILL NO. 320 AND/OR SENATE
BILL NO. 322, OR THEIR SUBSTANTIAL EQUIVALENTS IN EACH
INSTANCE, ARE SO ENACTED INTO LAW, THESE APPROPRIA-
TIONS SHALL BE APPROPRIATED INSTEAD TO AND FOR THE
PURPOSES AND UNDER THE PROCEDURES IN SAID SENATE
BILL 320 OR ITS SUBSTANTIAL EQUIVALENT AND/OR IN SAID
SENATE BILL 322 OR ITS SUBSTANTIAL EQUIVALENT, IN EITHER
OR BOTH EVENTS TO BE EXPENDED BY THE STATE SCHOLAR-
SHIP BOARD.
