of the State senatorial district and/or subdistrict AND SUBDIS-
TRICT, IF ANY; and no person shall be eligible as a Senator unless
he shall have attained the age of twenty-five years at the time of
his election.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 168
(Senate Bill 112)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments subsection (d)
of Section 13 of Article 49B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume), title "Interracial Commission", sub-
title "Enforcement Powers of Commission," excepting the Inter-
racial Commission and its staff from certain restrictions against
disclosure and publicity relating to investigations, negotiations,
and complaints where certain local, state and national commis-
sions, and/or governmental agencies or departments AND/OR
LEGISLATIVE BODIES AND THE MEMBERS OF THE LEG-
ISLATURE ACTING IN THEIR OFFICIAL CAPACITIES hav-
ing authority to implement fair employment and public accommo-
dation laws, are concerned.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Subsection (d) of Section 13 of Article 49B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume), title "Interracial
Commission," subtitle "Enforcement Powers of Commission," be
and is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments to read
as follows:
13.
(d) Neither the Commission nor its staff shall disclose what has
transpired during the course of any investigation, nor shall any
publicity be given to any negotiations or to the fact that a complaint
has been filed. Except that this provision shall not apply to disclosures
by the Commission or its staff to local, state and national commis-
sions, and/or agencies or governmental departments AND/OR LEG-
ISLATIVE BODIES AND THE MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLA-
TURE ACTING IN THEIR OFFICIAL CAPACITIES which have
legally invested authority to implement fair employment and public
accommodation laws.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
