permit for the following year]. Said licensee shall at all reasonable
hours allow any officer charged with the enforcement of the game
and fish laws of this state to enter and inspect the premises where
operations are being carried on and to inspect records.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 13
(Senate Bill 151)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 177 of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water
Fish," subheading "Fur Bearers," repealing the requirement that
taxidermists submit an annual report of certain records to the
Director of the Game and Inland Fish Commission and to provide
that they keep a ledger of certain records.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 177 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and
Inland Water Fish," subheading "Fur Bearers," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
177.
(a) Any person desiring to engage in taxidermy and fur tanning
for profit shall make application therefor on forms supplied by the
Director of the Game and Inland Fish Commission for a license so
to do. The Director upon receipt of application and license fee of
five dollars ($5.00) may issue to the applicant an annual taxidermist
and fur tanning license permitting such applicant to practice the
art of taxidermy and fur tanning for profit as stated in the license
in mounting, preserving or tanning all species of wild birds, wild
quadrupeds and fish legally acquired.
(b) Taxidermist and fur tanning licenses issued shall expire on
the 30th day of June next following date of issuance.
(c) [Taxidermist and fur tanners shall between July 1 and July
10 of each year submit to the Director of the Game and Inland Fish
Commission on forms furnished by him a statement, under oath,
indicating the number or quantity and species of furs and the county
or place of origin in which furs were taken, possessed, bought, sold,
transported, shipped, stored, tanned, or used by him during the
period covered by the last previous license. Taxidermists and fur
tanners shall also include in such reports the name, address, and
current license number of each person, from whom all furs were
purchased within or outside the State of Maryland, the date of pur-
chase, the quantity of each species of furs purchased, the county in
which said furs were taken if purchased in the State of Maryland.
Said reports shall cover all transactions from date of issuance of
