the date for the conclusion of the season in the State for the hunt-
ing of wild waterfowl.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 150 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and
Inland Water Fish," subheading "Waterfowl and Migratory Birds,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
150.
It shall be unlawful to hunt any wild waterfowl within the limits
of the State of Maryland between the first day of February and the
[thirty-first day of October] fifteenth day of September in each and
every year, both dates, inclusive, and it shall be unlawful to hunt any
of the game birds herein mentioned on Sunday.
It shall be unlawful to hunt wild waterfowl at any time or in any
manner on either the land or the waters within the boundary lines
of the Blackwater Migratory Birds Refuge located in Dorchester
County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 11
(Senate Bill 140)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 145 (a)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water
Fish," subheading "Field Trials," to authorize the shooting of
wild game birds raised in captivity at retriever trials held during
the closed season in the State for hunting.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 145 (a) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game
and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Field Trials," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows :
145.
(a) It shall be unlawful to hold field trials with dogs in this State
during any closed hunting season unless permission to do so is
granted by the Director, and any club or association holding a field
trial during any closed hunting season shall not be allowed to shoot,
or shoot at any game of any species which is protected by law;
