sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), such surety bond
to be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of his
office, to be executed by a surety company authorized to transact
business in the State of Maryland as surety, to be approved by the
Attorney General, and to be filed in the office of the Secretary of
State. The premium on such bond shall be treated as current expense
of the Authority.] The secretary-treasurer shall, upon entering the
performance of his duties, be covered by a surety bond in accordance
with the provisions of Sections 46 through 50 of Article 78A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland.

Article 66˝
5. Office of Commissioner of Motor Vehicles.

The Department shall be under the control of a civil executive
officer to be known as the "Commissioner of Motor Vehicles." Subject
to the provisions of Article 64A of this Code, the Governor shall
appoint a competent person, who shall have been a registered voter
in the State of Maryland for three consecutive years next preceding
the date of his appointment and who shall be known as the "Com-
missioner of Motor Vehicles," and shall devote his time to the duties
of such office. Following the appointment of the Commissioner, he
shall hold his position subject generally to the provisions of said
Article 64A. Said Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall receive such
salary as shall be provided for in the State budget. [He shall be
required to give bond in the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000)
or such additional sum as the Governor may require, for the faithful
performance of his duties.] He shall, upon entering the performance
of his duties, be covered by a surety bond in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 46 through 50 of Article 78A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland.

Article 66A
10. Oath and bond of officers of Board.

The chairman, vice-chairman and secretary shall, before assuming
the duties of their respective offices, take and subscribe the oath
prescribed by the Constitution of the State of Maryland, [and each
shall annually give corporate surety bond to the State of Maryland
in such sum as the State Comptroller may prescribe, with condition
that he faithfully perform the duties of his office and account for
all funds received under color of his office.] and each shall, upon
entering the performance of his duties, be covered by a surety bond
in accordance with the provisions of Sections 46 through 50 of Article
78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

Article 66C

129. Disbursement of funds; sale of licenses by persons engaged in
retail business.

(a) Disbursement of Funds—The clerks of the circuit courts of
the counties and the clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore
City shall on the first day of July and on the first day of each and
every month thereafter, transmit to the Game and Inland Fish Com-
mission of this State all monies received by them for licenses, and
said monies shall be accounted for by the said Commission to the
