said county or city, the State, through the Board of Public Works,
shall make provision for paying one-half of the costs of such con-
struction or improvements, the plans and costs for same to be
approved by the Department, OFFICER, the Department of Correc-
tion, the Department of Public Improvements and the State Planning
Commission.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of laws,
public general or public local, inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act are hereby repealed to the extent of any such inconsistency.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to authorize the Board of Public Works to acquire certain
properties and the improvements thereon located in or near the
City of Annapolis as more particularly described herein, to pro-
vide for the manner and details of such acquisition and for the
razing of any improvements thereon.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That (A) the Board of Public Works is authorized to acquire in
whole or in part in the manner and under the procedures specified
herein the properties and the improvements thereon described herein
within and without the City of Annapolis and for this purpose to use
any funds available from time to time. If any property is acquired
by condemnation, it shall be according to the procedures in Article
33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended from time to
time. Any properties so acquired shall be used for the purposes and
uses of the State of Maryland, and if no longer needed for such pur-
poses may be sold or conveyed for another use.
(B) The Board is authorized to acquire the following parcels of
land and to acquire all interests in these parcels, whether or record
or not, by whomever owned:
All that land situate in or near the City of Annapolis bordering
on the easterly and westerly sides of Roscoe Rowe Boulevard be-
tween Taylor Avenue and College Creek owned by the W. B. and A.
Railroad and the Naval Academy Athletic Association.

AT THE INTERSECTION FORMED BY THE SOUTHEAST
