Public Works for preliminary plans, studies, designs, specifications,
AND OUTLINE SPECIFICATIONS and other contract documents
and working drawings for certain capital improvement projects
subject to reimbursement of the Revolving Preliminary Planning
Fund from the annual Construction Loan or from any other special
loan funds separately authorized by the General Assembly OR
FROM GENERAL FUNDS.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 9A be and it is hereby added to Article 88C of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume), title
"State Planning," to follow immediately after Section 9 thereof, and
to read as follows :
9 A.
The Governor shall provide in his annual budget a sum sufficient
to establish a Revolving Preliminary Planning Fund UNDER THE
JURISDICTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. For any
project which is a part of the capital improvement programs estab-
lished pursuant to Sections 8 and SECTION 9, funds may be made
available, upon recommendation of the State Planning Department
with the approval of the Board of Public Works, for preliminary
plans, studies, designs, specifications, other contract documents, and
working drawings AND OUTLINE SPECIFICATIONS from the
Revolving Preliminary Planning Fund. Such sums advanced shall
be reimbursed to the Revolving Preliminary Planning Fund with the
approval of the Board of Public Works out of the annual General
Construction Loan, or from any other special loan funds separately
authorized by the General Assembly OR FROM GENERAL FUNDS.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 572
(House Bill 8)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 638A of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Venue, Procedure and
Sentence," subheading "Sentence and Punishment," to repeal the
age limitation to the release of persons on their own recognizance
provisions AND TO MAKE THIS ACT INAPPLICABLE TO
CERTAIN OFFENSES.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 638A of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Venue, Procedure and Sentence," subheading "Sentence and
Punishment," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
