to represent stick defendant or to assist in the representation of
such defendant at any stage of the proceedings or an appeal. If
such attorney is appointed, he will be compensated by the order of
the Circuit Court in amounts which shall be at the discretion of
the court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1967.

(Senate Bill 549)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 65 of
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Garrett County (1957 Edi-
tion, being Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land), title "Garrett County," subtitle "County Commissioners,"
to change the time of regular meetings of the Board of County
Commissioners of Garrett County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 65 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Garrett County
(1957 Edition, being Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Garrett County," subtitle "County Commission-
ers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

65.

The County Commissioners of Garrett County shall meet in
regular session on [the first and third Mondays of each and every
month] Monday of each week, and remain in session so long as may
be necessary to properly transact the business of the county.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Public
Education", subtitle "Chapter 26. University of Maryland", said
new sections to be known as Sections 259U to 259AD, inclusive, of
said Article and to follow immediately after Section 259T of said
Article, authorizing the University of Maryland to acquire, con-
struct, equip, maintain, repair and operate one or more buildings,
