the State prior thereto adopted a revision of the Constitution of
Maryland proposed by a Constitutional Convention.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the aforegoing section
hereby proposed as amendment to the Constitution of Maryland,
at the next general election to be held in this State in November
1968, shall be submitted to the legal and qualified voters thereof
for their adoption or rejection in pursuance of directions contained
in Article 14 of the Constitution of this State, and at the said general
election, the vote on the said proposed amendments to the Consti-
tution shall be by ballot, and upon each ballot there shall be printed
the words "For the Constitutional Amendments" and "Against the
Constitutional Amendments" as now provided by law, and, imme-
diately, after said election, all returns shall be made to the Governor
of the vote for and against said proposed amendments, as directed
by said Article 14 of the Constitution, and further proceedings had
in accordance with said Article 14.

CHAPTER 475
(Senate Bill 346)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 90 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County (1965 Edition),
being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Harford County", subtitle "Auctioneers", providing that
auctioneers' licenses in Harford County shall be issued by the
County Treasurer, making provision for the disposition of penal-
ties payable under this section, and generally amending the local
laws of Harford County with respect to auctions and auctioneers.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 90 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County
(1965 Edition), being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Harford County", subtitle "Auctioneers", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

90.

It shall be unlawful for any person to pursue the business or avo-
cation of an auctioneer in Harford County without first obtaining
from the [Clerk of the Circuit Court for said] County Treasurer a
license therefor. Such license shall be renewable annually on July 1st
of each year, and the annual fee therefor shall be $25.00 for a resident
of Harford County and $50.00 for a non-resident of Harford County.
No auctioneer's license shall be issued to a non-resident of Harford
County, unless such non-resident applicant has also filed with the
[Clerk of the Circuit Court,] County Commissioners his bond in the
amount of $2000.00, to the county for the use and benefit of any
person, firm, or corporation dealing with him as auctioneer, and
conditional on his proper accounting, payment, and delivery of any
monies or property entrusted to his care and possession while acting
